High rigidity alloys

Nikkei MC Aluminium has developed a high rigidity aluminum alloy by restricting hard grain to sizes equivalent to those of conventional wear resistant alloys and by generating a homogeneously distributed high rigidity intermetallic compound.

This alloy has rigidity equivalent to cast iron, making it a suitable alternative to steel with reduced thickness.
