Highly wear resistant alloys

Nikkei MC Aluminium has developed alloys with wear resistance equivalent to the conventional ADC14 wear resistant alloy and series 390 alloys. Reducing the Si content lowers liquid phase temperatures and improves machinability for easier handling than conventional alloys.

Using this alloy as an alternative to conventional alloys, including the series 390 alloys, can reduce operating costs.
